Amy Lee Sanford

Amy Lee Sanford was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in 1972 and is currently living and working in New York City. Sanford’s practice incorporates drawing and sculpture as well as performance and video. Sanford’s work addresses the evolution of emotional stagnation, and the lasting psychological effects of war, including aspects of guilt, loss, alienation, and displacement.
