Winner Jumalon

Winner Jumalon (b. 1983, Philippines) is one of the most compelling and widely acclaimed Filipino artists of his generation. His practice explores the relationships between painters, paintings and the art world as well as the development of a personal but ambiguous type of visual iconography.

Jumalon’s works have been shown in fairs and exhibitions in Asia, Europe, USA and the Middle East, including the Metropolitan Museum in Manila, Philippines. He is a two-time finalist of the Philip Morris Art Awards; and he was awarded the Thirteen Artists Award (TAA) from the Cultural Center of the Philippines in 2009, and the Tiroche DeLeon Collection Residency in 2016.

He currently lives and works in Manila, Philippines
